Privacy — the waiting list
This page covers the coming-soon page at cogmax.io and its waiting list. The full privacy policy for the CogMax platform will be published here when it opens.
Who we are
The data controller is Joachim Clohessy, trading as CogMax, in Ireland. Contact: hello@cogmax.io.
What we collect, and why
- Your email address, the time you joined, and the link you came from (for example a business card), when you join the waiting list. We use it to email you about CogMax's launch: early-access or beta invitations before it opens, and the announcement when it does. Nothing unrelated, and every email lets you unsubscribe. Lawful basis: your consent.
- Your IP address, held for up to 1 hour in a scrambled (hashed) form, only to stop the form being flooded. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the service working.
We don't use cookies or tracking on this page, and we don't sell or share your email.
Who processes it
- Vercel: hosting.
- Upstash: storing the waiting list.
- Resend: sending your thank-you email and telling us someone joined.
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, mainly in the United States. Where they do, the transfer relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, as each provider offers.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it. Otherwise we delete the waiting list 6 months after CogMax opens. If you create an account, the main privacy policy covers it from then on.
Your rights
You can withdraw consent, see, correct or delete your email at any time by writing to hello@cogmax.io. You can also complain to the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
